About the Role
Princeton University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Robotics Program Manager to oversee the establishment and growth of its robotics programs. This individual will work closely with the faculty Director to develop and implement academic curricula, manage day-to-day operations, and foster a vibrant community of researchers and students.

Responsibilities
Management and Administration:
• Oversee the robotics program holistically, ensuring seamless coordination and communication between various stakeholders.
• Partner with the Director to cultivate relationships with internal and external partners, including industry representatives, government agencies, and other universities.
• Coordinate high-profile events, such as lectures, symposia, and colloquia, to showcase Princeton's research and expertise in robotics.
• Assist program faculty in developing strategic plans for the growth and development of the Center.
• Oversee staff appointments, including the Robotics Laboratory Manager position, and ensure effective management of resources and budgets.

Research and Events:
• Foster research collaborations with other institutions and industry partners, leading to joint projects and publications.
• Provide programmatic support to the Director, coordinating research efforts and activities to achieve common goals and milestones.
• Assist with outreach activities on campus and in the local community, promoting the university's commitment to robotics research and education.

Academic Curriculum and Educational Programs:
• Collaborate with the Director to develop and administer undergraduate and graduate programs in robotics.
• Create and administer undergraduate research programs and projects, providing guidance and support to students and faculty mentors.

Budget and Financial Management:
• Develop and oversee the initiative's budget, ensuring responsible financial management and resource allocation.
• Direct the day-to-day operations, including administrative support functions and project management tasks.

Requirements

Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of work experience, preferably in an academic or research setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a high degree of professionalism and initiative.
• Ability to think creatively, work independently, and interact effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to represent the university at meetings and events.
• Ability to handle multiple varied and competing priorities and tasks, with a willingness to work flexible hours when needed.

Salary
$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
