Position Overview

The Content Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and disseminating messages and materials that inform, educate, and motivate clients to engage with NRTC Alabama, Inc.'s Industrial Equipment Products and Services. This role will oversee the design of promotional materials, manage various communication channels, and ensure that branding remains consistent across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, innovative, and proactive. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, graphic design software (such as Photoshop or Canva), and a solid understanding of B2B eCommerce and marketing management tools are crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and executing internal and external communication strategies and content marketing initiatives.
  • Creating SEO-optimized content weekly for the website, blog, email campaigns, public relations, and social media platforms.
  • Designing visual assets for website banners, digital and print materials, business cards, and social media posts.
  • Producing, editing, and proofreading marketing documents.
  • Establishing and maintaining a content calendar.
  • Compiling and curating content for monthly newsletters.
  • Ensuring consistent branding across all projects, including maintaining brand guidelines and identity.
  • Planning and participating in special events on behalf of the company.
  • Writing scripts, transcripts, and descriptions for video content.
  • Assisting with lead management in the CRM system.
  • Creating content for email marketing campaigns within the CRM.
  • Editing and formatting presentations for sales and leadership teams.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members, partner organizations, media, and vendors.
  • Coordinating the design and procurement of promotional items and giveaways.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is acceptable.
  • Examples of previous work will be requested during the interview process.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Advanced graphic design skills in either Photoshop or Canva.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools.
  • Experience in creating and promoting content on social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Understanding of the industrial equipment sector is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of B2B eCommerce practices.
  • Experience with marketing management software.
  • Prior experience using a CRM system.
Work Environment
  • The majority of the work will be conducted at a computer workstation.
  • Regular working hours will be established, with occasional overtime as necessary.
  • This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with occasional office visits.
