Your primary responsibilities will involve handling inbound inquiries from participants of employer-sponsored retirement plans, offering guidance and tailored solutions, including long-term investment options. Through continuous training and hands-on experience, you will develop into a knowledgeable resource on retirement products and services, assisting participants in identifying their needs and proposing solutions that can positively impact their futures.

What You Have

Previous experience in finance is not a prerequisite; individuals from diverse backgrounds have achieved remarkable success at Charles Schwab. This role offers a combination of instructor-led training, mentorship, and practical learning opportunities during your initial year.

Required Qualifications

  • Availability to work Monday through Friday during the hours of 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM CST, depending on contact center requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for the consultative process of recommending suitable solutions while educating our participants.
  • One year of experience utilizing computer applications in a professional or academic setting.
  • Strong listening skills to analyze account information and better understand client needs.
  • Detail-oriented with focused analytical skills to comply with policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ability to adapt to and implement changes as market and business conditions evolve.
  • Open to mentoring and feedback for ongoing improvement.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Possession of an active and valid Series 7 & 63 license is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • If you are not licensed and wish to obtain FINRA licenses, we have a structured path to support your career aspirations.
