Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Agricultural Equipment Mechanic to install, maintain, and repair agricultural equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, layout plans, and vendor installation manuals to determine work procedures.
  • Dismantle and reassemble machines using hand tools and power tools.
  • Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
  • Assemble and install equipment, such as shaffing, grain bins, conveyors, and tram rails, using cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Construct foundations for machines using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement, and steel.
  • Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
  • Must have knowledge of optical and laser alignments.
  • Assemble machines and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures using hand tools and power tools.
  • May operate engine lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.
  • May install robot and modify its program using teach pendant.
  • May use transit and level for equipment setting.
  • Loads, transports, and unloads materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Performs lubricating maintenance, cleaning activities, or repair of tools, machines, and equipment.
  • Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
