Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Mission Planning Cell Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in mission planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement mission planning strategies to optimize ground system utilization
  • Provide technical guidance and support to program office and customer teams
  • Ensure spacecraft and ground system health, status, and anomaly resolution within scope of contracts
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Lead and mentor technical employees in the application of systems engineering principles and tools
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM-related field
  • 14+ years of relevant experience in satellite operations engineering
  • Active or current TS/SCI clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience in satellite operations engineering disciplines
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing or leading large engineering teams
  • Technical lead or leadership experience in a program office or business function
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++
  • Familiarity with astrodynamics tools such as FreeFlyer or STK
