Entegris is seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Billerica, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, as well as excellent PC literacy and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to resolve problems in a timely manner.

Disassemble and inspect mechanical, electrical, and programming components to identify and repair or replace faulty parts.

Develop and implement measures to reduce or eliminate industrial accidents and health hazards in compliance with OSHA standards.

Experience with hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and PLC systems is essential.

Schedule and prioritize maintenance work to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations.

Ensure safe handling and disposal of waste materials and maintain water tower units to meet health and safety standards.

May be required to work irregular hours or return to the plant after hours in response to unexpected equipment failures or projects.

Ensure adherence to Entegris's Quality System, ISO, and other relevant standards to maintain the highest product quality.

Communicate effectively with machine vendors and suppliers to resolve issues and obtain necessary support.

Comply with OSHA guidelines and EHS program safety and health rules to ensure a safe working environment.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including PM schedules and replacement parts.

Ensure a clean and safe work environment by keeping the work area free of debris and maintaining a high level of housekeeping.

Minimum Qualifications

Certificate or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control and Automation Engineering is preferred.

Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics, as well as assembly drawings for production machines.

Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC systems is essential.

Ability to read voltmeter and other test instruments.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. without assistance and to stand, bend, and climb for extended periods.

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of plant equipment, operations, and processes.
