This role may necessitate flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify, report, and rectify potential safety issues (such as damaged doors or railings, fire risks, etc.) and inform supervisors of any damages or disturbances.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and flooring maintenance and repairs.
- Execute painting tasks, minor roof repairs, and other exterior maintenance projects.
- Conduct repairs on pool and fitness equipment as needed.
- Participate actively in preventative maintenance initiatives.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels of consumables as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and Management team to complete all technical and skilled projects.
- Prepare necessary reports during each shift for management review.
- Respond to adverse weather conditions to maintain the hotel's exterior (e.g., snow removal, ice management).
- Self-motivated team player with a strong initiative and a drive for success.
- Capable of effectively addressing workplace challenges, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues as they arise.
- Able to perform well under pressure.
- Efficiently complete work orders within designated timeframes.
- Approachable and available for guest interactions while delivering exceptional service.
- Willingness to respond to emergencies on short notice.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency protocols is essential.
Physical Requirements:
