Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Advocate Health. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient and high-quality service to patients, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and resolving patient concerns.
  • Ensure accurate and timely medical records, including updating patient information and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of customer service experience in a high-volume, high-stress environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CRT/PC experience in a customer service setting.
  • Working knowledge of IDX system and medical terminology.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, multiple-task environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Exposure to ill patients and potential exposure to infectious diseases.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions with demanding patients and families.
