Position Overview

The Financial Planning and Analysis team is integral to navigating key business challenges at The Ladders. This team is tasked with budget oversight, strategic forecasting, resource distribution, financial evaluation, management of financial planning systems, and engagement with stakeholders. The role will emphasize FP&A while offering insights into various dimensions of Strategic Finance.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the company’s financial modeling and strategic financial planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure optimal resource distribution for significant investments.
  • Define and align key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor progress and growth strategies.
  • Evaluate elements affecting the long-term financial health of The Ladders.
  • Establish a scalable financial planning framework.
  • Assist in capital planning, corporate finance, and stakeholder communication efforts.
  • Work closely with the accounting department to synchronize forecasts with historical financial data.
  • Develop presentations and reports for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to distill complex issues into structured action plans.
  • Extensive experience in financial modeling with a strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and effective communication at an executive level.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or FP&A within B2B/SaaS sectors.
  • Prior experience leading annual planning processes is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
