The ideal candidate will work closely with customers to understand their learning needs and provide tailored recommendations for our literacy products.

About the Job: As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will be responsible for greeting and engaging customers, answering questions about our merchandise, and processing payments using our POS system. You will also capture photo and video content for social media, represent our brand values, and communicate our approach to supporting learning through science-backed methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage customers as they explore our store
  • Answer questions related to merchandise and provide recommendations based on age, grade level, and learning goals
  • Process payments and operate our POS system
  • Capture photo and video content for social media

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you will need 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in the education sector. You must be able to work well on a team, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have basic tech literacy. A High School diploma or equivalent is required, and you must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation: This part-time position offers an estimated salary of $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a dynamic and fun work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a chance to make a real difference in the lives of children through literacy.
