About the Role:

Connor Group, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a highly skilled Compensation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our financial services department, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing innovative compensation programs that drive business growth and attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compensation Program Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective compensation strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
  • Strategic Compensation Alignment: Work closely with finance and HR departments to ensure compensation strategies are aligned with organizational growth plans and industry standards.
  • Merit, Bonus, and Variable Compensation Cycles: Oversee and manage annual merit, bonus, and variable compensation cycles, ensuring fair and competitive compensation practices.
  • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop and maintain complex financial models to budget and forecast compensation costs, analyze compensation scenarios, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Compensation Analytics: Perform detailed compensation analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of current compensation programs, identify trends, and recommend adjustments to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business goals.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the compensation budget, ensuring alignment with financial goals and constraints.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize advanced data analytics tools to provide actionable insights on compensation trends, pay equity, and market competitiveness.
  • Compensation Benchmarking: Lead the benchmarking process to compare the organization's compensation practices against industry standards.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all compensation practices comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Internal Job Architecture: Manage the internal job architecture, defining clear career paths and pay ranges.
  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations on compensation trends, cost implications, and potential adjustments to ensure the organization remains competitive in the market.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in financial analysis and complex modeling.
  • Proven expertise in compensation management, preferably in a professional services environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Workday and Tableau experience highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with India, as our operations span across the United States and will include employees in India.
Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or HR-related) or professional certifications (e.g., CCP, GRP) would be advantageous.
