Position Summary:
Are you an enthusiastic and customer-oriented professional with a strong interest in hospitality? As a Front Desk Manager, you will oversee our front desk team to ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. Being the initial point of contact for our guests, your vibrant energy and passion will help cultivate a welcoming and positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily functions of the front desk, ensuring efficient operations and seamless processes.
  • Train, guide, and inspire front desk personnel to provide exemplary service.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and promptness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to guarantee smooth guest experiences.
  • Supervise and uphold front desk protocols, including check-in/check-out procedures and reservation management.
  • Implement and uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance and guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee room inventory and optimize revenue through effective room management techniques.
  • Conduct performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to front desk staff.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of prior management experience in front office or related fields.
  • Strong time management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to independently manage and lead various aspects of the department.
  • Knowledge of employment and Innkeeper laws applicable to the jurisdiction.
  • Experience with cash handling is essential.
  • Effective communication skills with the public and team members.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Opera PMS, Micros, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
