Position Summary

The ICG serves as the institutional distribution division of Fidelity's Asset Management sector, tasked with nurturing investment relationships with Global Fortune 500 companies and significant public sector clients. We seek a seasoned financial services expert with a solid understanding of investment products pertinent to both Defined Benefit plans and public market sectors. Key responsibilities include supporting our global relationship management and distribution teams as they interact with clients, prospects, and external consultants across the globe. This role demands financial expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to follow-through, all within a dynamic yet collaborative environment.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory; advanced degrees or international experience are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of client-facing and product experience in the financial sector; experience with Fidelity is preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses are required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
  • Familiarity with Defined Benefit and public sector investment strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate across the organization to influence various levels of management and peers through effective personal interactions and presentations.
  • Proficient in cross-cultural communication, both verbally and in writing.
  • A willingness to learn and engage across diverse geographical regions.
  • Capability to work both on-site and remotely, with minimal travel obligations.

Role Purpose and Value

The primary objective of the Global Client Services Account Manager is to sustain an existing client portfolio while contributing to the growth of Assets Under Management (AUM) across our global distribution network. In this capacity, you will support a seasoned US-based Sales and Relationship Management team as they engage with distribution partners worldwide. Core responsibilities encompass:

  • Onboarding new global accounts.
  • Managing daily service inquiries from international clients.
  • Coordinating responses to new business proposals and developing marketing materials.
  • Overseeing sub-advisory agreements and pricing structures.
  • Establishing relationships and conducting strategy sessions with US and Global Sales teams.
  • Tracking Sales opportunities throughout their lifecycle in Salesforce CRM.
  • Providing updates on Sales activities, campaign initiatives, and key focus areas for internal stakeholders.
  • Showcasing Fidelity's capabilities and resources to deliver additional value to our clients.
  • Sharing insights on industry trends and peer organization practices to assist clients in navigating complex investment landscapes.
  • Staying informed about critical operational issues and client concerns affecting business partners.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Fidelity to demonstrate best practices and engage in cross-company initiatives.
  • Acting as a primary contact for various teams within Fidelity to enhance our business relationships across the organization.
