Job SummaryThis is a position responsible for ensuring product quality meets acceptable standards, communicating with buyers to resolve quality issues, and analyzing and proposing solutions to problems associated with Quality Assurance.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Check produce in slots daily to ensure product quality meets acceptable standards.
- Communicate with buyers to resolve quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor variance reports for accurate accounting of spoilage, warehouse damage, and truck damage.
- Greet internal and external customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Inspect inbound freight, warehoused product, and/or outbound product and document product condition.
- Analyze and propose solutions to problems associated with Quality Assurance.
- Observe all safety rules, regulations, and sanitation policies.
- Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
