Job Summary

This is a position responsible for ensuring product quality meets acceptable standards, communicating with buyers to resolve quality issues, and analyzing and proposing solutions to problems associated with Quality Assurance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Check produce in slots daily to ensure product quality meets acceptable standards.
  • Communicate with buyers to resolve quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor variance reports for accurate accounting of spoilage, warehouse damage, and truck damage.
  • Greet internal and external customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Inspect inbound freight, warehoused product, and/or outbound product and document product condition.
  • Analyze and propose solutions to problems associated with Quality Assurance.
  • Observe all safety rules, regulations, and sanitation policies.
Qualifications
  • Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
