About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Reliability Engineer I to join our team at Saint-Gobain. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute projects to improve process efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and develop solutions to address them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and implement new or modified equipment, machines, or processes to improve product quality and reduce costs.
  • Perform calculations and cost estimates of mechanical systems.
  • Update and maintain current documentation of specifications, drawings, and safety procedures.
  • Apply Six Sigma principles, tools, and methods to improve quality and reduce defects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience with identifying root cause and failure analysis.
  • Ability to develop and implement improvement projects.
  • Proven ability in problem analysis and resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced computer skills with emphasis in Microsoft Office Programs.
  • Six Sigma experience and working knowledge is a plus.
