Compensation Administration Specialist

We are looking for a reliable individual to fill the role of Payroll Specialist. This position offers essential administrative assistance to the Payroll, Benefits, and Human Resources divisions. The responsibilities will encompass significant data entry, managing departmental correspondence, as well as various clerical tasks such as copying, filing, and scanning.

Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Payroll, Benefits, and Human Resources divisions.
- Manage ticket issues within the departmental task assignment queue.
- Oversee the departmental email inbox, addressing issues and routing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail while processing returned correspondence.
- Handle individual claims processing.
- Perform filing, copying, faxing, and prepare routine correspondence, along with generating reports and maintaining supplies.
- Attach scanned documents to member records.
- Execute additional duties as required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of prior administrative or clerical experience is necessary.
- Experience in Payroll, Benefits, and HR is advantageous.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, including creating and formatting spreadsheets, and using formulas.
- Familiarity with various computer software, databases, or HRIS tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of employee benefits, medical insurance, or billing processes is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong general administrative skills, including data entry, filing, and copying.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new software programs.
- Capable of operating a wide range of office equipment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet ongoing deadlines.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
