  • Uphold High Standards: Ensure that all aspects of the bar operation meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Create a world-class guest experience through interactions and adherence to our steps of service.
  • Mixology Expertise: Prepare and serve drinks according to set standard recipes, and maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections.
  • Bar Operations: Oversee the overall operation of the bar, including POS, setup, teardown, mise en place, and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the bar, equipment, and supplies.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction and coaching to barbacks, and assist them when necessary to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the bar.
  • Inventory Management: Be aware of all inventory behind the bar, and when requested, count and take inventory of all beverages and supplies.
  • Side Duties: Complete opening, closing, and side duties efficiently, and perform assigned side work.
  • Flexibility: Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the management team.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of bartending experience in a similar high-volume cocktail-driven environment, including a full-service wood and service bar.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, and strong computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Certifications: Smart Serve Certification is a requirement.
  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, WSET, Prud'homme, or equivalent considered an asset.
  • Availability: Full-time flexible hours are required (days, nights, weekends, holidays) or as agreed with your hiring manager.
