Job Summary

The VELUX Group is seeking a highly skilled National Account Sales Manager to support the needs of our national account customers. This role will be responsible for developing sales and business strategies to increase sales and form long-lasting business partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of national account customers and mass merchant retail, with a proven track record of success in outside sales. They will be responsible for supervising a team of Account Managers and managing key national accounts directly.

The National Account Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for growing the business with national account customers
  • Working closely with internal teams to support a productive, proactive, and profitable business relationship with national account customers
  • Managing and developing Account Managers, including annual performance reviews, training, and employee development
  • Developing and maintaining store planograms and stock recommendations by market, with the support of Account Managers
  • Providing regular input to management on sales results and POS data
  • Maintaining SKU systems, compliance programs, and operational aspects within assigned national accounts
  • Preparing annual sales forecasts and sales expense estimates, and working within established budgets to control expenses and maximize profitability

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of outside sales experience. They will also have demonstrated proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with SAP is beneficial.
