Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership of Ticket Operations: Direct all aspects of the Ticket Office at the Jenny Craig Pavilion, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective management of ticket sales.
- Team Management: Supervise a part-time staff, responsible for hiring, training, and evaluating team members to maintain high operational standards.
- Compliance Coordination: Work closely with the Compliance office to uphold NCAA and university regulations regarding ticket sales and student-athlete policies.
- Budget Management: Prepare and oversee the annual budget for the ticket office, ensuring financial integrity and accountability.
- Sales Strategy Development: Execute targeted sales initiatives to engage alumni and potential season ticket holders, enhancing revenue generation.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate ticket inventories and implement robust accounting practices to ensure financial transparency.
- Collaboration: Build and sustain relationships with various university departments and external partners to enhance ticket sales and marketing efforts.
Revenue Generation and Marketing:
- Ticket Sales Procedures: Establish and maintain effective ticket sale protocols, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Marketing Initiatives: Develop marketing materials and email campaigns in collaboration with the External Affairs unit to drive ticket sales.
- Data-Driven Reporting: Oversee the creation of reports on ticket sales and attendance, using data to inform strategic decisions.
- Event Coordination: Manage the design and distribution of season tickets and ticket packages for various athletic events.
- Community Engagement: Implement programs to enhance community partnerships and group sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Experience: A minimum of two years in ticket operations within a collegiate or professional environment is required.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with NCAA regulations and a strong background in customer service are highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Proficiency in basic accounting principles.
