Community Focus: AdventHealth Riverview

· AdventHealth is enhancing our medical capabilities and innovative technologies in southern Hillsborough County through the establishment of a new hospital in Riverview.

· The forthcoming AdventHealth Riverview facility will feature 82 beds initially, with plans for future expansion to 202 beds.

· This significant investment also includes a Medical Office Building designed to provide convenient access to healthcare services.

· The hospital will offer a comprehensive array of medical services, including emergency care, cardiovascular services, digestive health, urology, orthopedics, and women's health.

Your Role:

Oversee the quality and operational efficiency of the MRI Department. Conduct MRI imaging procedures and maintain detailed records of examinations. Gather and document patient medical histories. Ensure proper transmission of exams to the PACS system and maintain accurate clerical and transport functions. Participate in on-call duties as required. Provide basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. Assist in the Radiology Department as necessary. Uphold compliance with the corporate compliance plan and adhere to all relevant regulations and standards.

Your Contributions:

· Execute diagnostic MRI examinations for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.

· Ensure direct patient care for various age groups, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patients until they are returned to their respective rooms or discharged.

· Perform a variety of technical procedures aimed at detecting medical conditions.

· Maintain quality control standards.

· Ensure compliance with ACR Accreditation requirements.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

· Graduate of an accredited radiology program.

· Registered MRI technologist with a minimum of two years of MRI experience.

· Certification: ARRT (MR)

· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
