We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Riverview. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures under the direction of the MRI Medical Physician and the Regional Technical Supervisor of MRI.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of highly technical procedures, including MRI scans, to diagnose and treat patients.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest MRI technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasonography.
- Current ARRT certification.
- Current Florida State license in Radiologic Technology.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification or RQI.
