The Community You Will Serve: AdventHealth Riverview
· AdventHealth is enhancing its medical capabilities and introducing innovative technologies to southern Hillsborough County through a new hospital in Riverview.
· The facility will feature 82 beds upon opening, with future plans to expand to 202 beds.
· This significant investment also includes a Medical Office Building, providing convenient access to healthcare services.
· A variety of healthcare services will be available, including emergency care, cardiovascular services, and more.
Your Role:
Oversee the quality and operational efficiency of the MRI Department. Conduct MRI imaging procedures, maintain examination records, and document patient medical histories. Ensure proper transmission of exams to the PACS system and manage clerical and transport duties. Participate in on-call duties and provide basic patient care in accordance with departmental standards. Assist in the Radiology Department as required, adhering to compliance regulations and standards set by relevant authorities.
Your Contributions to the Team:
· Execute diagnostic MRI examinations for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
· Maintain direct patient care responsibilities across various age groups until patients are returned to their rooms or discharged.
· Perform technical procedures aimed at detecting medical conditions.
· Ensure quality control measures are in place.
· Maintain ACR Accreditation standards.
Qualifications Required:
· Graduate of an accredited radiology program.
· Registered MRI technologist with a minimum of two years of MRI experience.
· ARRT (MR) certification.
· BLS certification.
