The Community You Will Serve: AdventHealth Riverview
· AdventHealth is enhancing its medical capabilities, innovative practices, and advanced technology in southern Hillsborough County through the establishment of a new hospital in Riverview.
· This facility will initially feature 82 beds, with plans for future expansion to accommodate 202 beds.
· The $250 million investment in Riverview includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building for convenient access to specialized care.
· AdventHealth Riverview will provide a diverse array of healthcare services, including emergency care, cardiovascular services, digestive health, urology, orthopedics, and women's health.
Your Role:
Oversee the quality and productivity of the MRI Department. Conduct MRI imaging procedures, maintain detailed records of examinations, and document patient clinical histories. Ensure the transmission of exams to the PACS system, accurately linking them to the appropriate procedures, clerical tasks, and transport functions. Participate in standby call and provide basic patient care in accordance with departmental standards. Assist in the Radiology Department as necessary. Uphold the compliance plan of Gordon Hospital, adhering to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as the standards set by accrediting bodies.
Your Contributions to the Team:
· Execute diagnostic MRI examinations for evaluation and treatment by attending physicians.
· Provide direct patient care for various age groups, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric, and neonatal patients until they are returned to their rooms or discharged.
· Carry out technical procedures aimed at detecting pathology.
· Ensure quality control measures are in place.
· Maintain ACR Accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
Skills and Experience Required:
· Graduate of an accredited radiology program
· Registered MRI technologist with a minimum of two years of MRI experience
· ARRT (MR) certification
· BLS certification
