Sales Coordinator for Hospitality

Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of the sales team, the Hotel Sales Coordinator operates under general supervision, collaborating closely with both the sales and hotel leadership teams. The primary objective is to enhance the promotion and sale of guest accommodations and meeting facilities by adhering to established processes and procedures. This role is essential in driving hotel occupancy, optimizing average daily rates (ADR), and maximizing revenue per available room (RevPAR).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Focus on inside sales, which encompasses:
a. Coordinating meeting room specifications
b. Managing incoming inquiries
c. Proactively engaging in sales calls to secure new business
d. Nurturing relationships with existing clientele.
2. Participate in travel opportunities to support sales initiatives, including sales blitzes and tradeshows.

Uphold a high standard of integrity, service, and hospitality at all times, embodying the company culture in interactions with customers and team members.
Work Environment:
This position is based at a designated hotel as determined by the leadership team.

Essential Duties:
- Exhibit a +1 Service Attitude, delivering courteous and prompt service in response to inquiries and guest issues.
- Engage in regular team meetings and performance development discussions to align with company objectives.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of company programs and policies, including rewards and promotions.
- Manage group bookings while making informed decisions regarding revenue management.
- Assist the leadership team with sales-related correspondence and documentation.
- Support promotional events and sales initiatives as directed by supervisors.
- Coordinate with clients on meeting arrangements, including room blocks and catering needs.
- Conduct property tours, showcasing the hotel’s value proposition and amenities.
- Generate sales leads through proactive engagement and research.
- Analyze competition and market opportunities to enhance revenue potential.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to company procedures.
- Foster a positive work environment by appreciating diversity among team members and guests.
- Comply with safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
