Key Responsibilities:
As the Clinical Support Specialist, your duties will encompass the following:

  • Serve as the main point of contact via Phone, Outlook, and Salesforce, facilitating communication between our Cardiac Technicians and external cardiac facilities, including hospitals and healthcare providers.
  • Clearly convey ECG irregularities by following physician notification protocols and alerting physicians or clinical staff as necessary.
  • Conduct follow-ups with accounts to gather additional clinical details, such as pacemaker settings and cardiac clinician contact information.
  • Manage clinical case inquiries through ticketing systems, ensuring timely responses and updates on case status.
  • Confirm adherence to notification MDN criteria and ensure thoroughness of reports.
  • Promote effective communication with internal partners (e.g., cardiac technicians) and external stakeholders (e.g., hospitals and healthcare providers).
  • Achieve or surpass established performance metrics related to productivity and quality of case management.
  • Comply with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) Guidelines and Good Clinical Practices.
  • Maintain adherence to job-specific proficiency standards.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
We seek candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • An associate degree with at least 1 year of relevant customer service experience in a call center OR a high school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably within the medical sector.
  • Availability for in-office attendance as required by business needs.
  • Willingness to work every other Saturday.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, ideally with EKG interpretation.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Proficient in case management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • A customer-centric approach, demonstrating professionalism in challenging interactions via phone, email, and online communications.
  • Problem-solving mindset with independent thinking and sound judgment.
  • Engaged and motivated, showcasing a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Positive demeanor and collaborative spirit.
