Job Title: Campus Director

Phalen Leadership Academies is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Campus Director to lead our Dallas, TX location. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and management of the campus, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a positive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the campus.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure effective operation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee daily operations, including academic programs, student services, admissions, and financial management.
Leadership and Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of faculty and staff to achieve academic and operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the campus, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Academic Oversight:
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs that meet the needs of students and stakeholders.
  • Work with faculty to develop, review, and improve curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching methods and learning outcomes, using data to inform instructional practices and improve student achievement.
Compliance and Accreditation:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and operational excellence.
  • Maintain accreditation standards, preparing for reviews and audits as required.
  • Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with industry standards, protecting the reputation and interests of the organization.
Student Services:
  • Oversee student recruitment, admissions, and retention, ensuring a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Ensure the provision of student support services, including career counseling, tutoring, and extracurricular activities.
  • Address student concerns and grievances in a timely and effective manner, maintaining a high level of student satisfaction and engagement.
Staff Development:
  • Recruit, hire, and train qualified faculty and staff, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and respect among staff members.
Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage the campus budget, ensuring effective financial management and resource allocation.
  • Oversee financial operations, tuition, financial aid, and expenditures, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and transparency.
  • Seek additional funding opportunities through grants and partnerships, enhancing the financial stability and sustainability of the campus.
Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, employers, and other stakeholders, promoting the interests and reputation of the organization.
  • Represent the campus at community events, professional associations, and public forums, enhancing its visibility and reputation.
  • Promote the campus's programs and achievements, showcasing its excellence and commitment to student success.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in school leadership, required.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation requirements for career schools.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and financial operations.
  • Experience in curriculum development and instructional methods.
  • Commitment to student success and staff development.
Working Conditions:
  • This position typically requires working in an office environment, with occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and events.
  • The Director may need to work evenings or weekends to accommodate the needs of students, staff, and stakeholders.
