Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Uplift Meridian Preparatory. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to our families, staff, and scholars, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to families, staff, and scholars, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing visitors to the appropriate staff member.
  • Assist with various clerical and administrative tasks, such as sorting and distributing mail, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure a positive and welcoming environment for all visitors, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director to establish a positive and support-focused culture on campus.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish.
  • Experience working in a K-12 environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Work Environment

The Receptionist will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and moderate to high noise levels. The ability to work outside in varying weather conditions may be required for arrival and dismissal support at carline.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16.75.
