Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychology Supervisor to join our team at the Olympic Heritage Behavioral Health (OHBH) facility in Tukwila, WA. As a Psychology Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality psychological services to our patients, supervising a team of psychologists and psychology associates, and ensuring adherence to DSHS/BHA/OHBH policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to psychologists and psychology associates
  • Develop and implement department policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to DSHS/BHA/OHBH policies and procedures
  • Manage the civil commitment process for patients detained under RCW
  • Supervise the preparation and filing of civil commitment petitions, conditional releases, and less restrictive orders
  • Oversee the work of all psychology staff and manage billing practices for licensed psychologists
Requirements
  • Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA, CPA, or regionally accredited college or university
  • Licensure to practice in Washington as an independent Psychologist or licensed to practice in another state with the ability to obtain Washington licensure within six months from date of hire
  • Minimum three years of experience providing evidence-based treatment to psychiatric residents within a residential or psychiatric hospital setting
  • Minimum two years of managerial experience providing clinical supervision to professional staff
Preferred Qualifications
  • Management experience at an intermediate level or higher
  • Five years of experience providing evidence-based treatment to psychiatric residents within a residential or psychiatric hospital setting
  • Experience with negotiating and managing performance-based contracts with other agencies and professionals
  • Working knowledge of budgeting and contract management principles and practices

King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use.
