As a Psychology Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality psychological services to patients with serious mental illnesses.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision to a team of psychologists and psychology associates
- Develop and implement department policies and procedures
- Ensure adherence to DSHS/BHA/OHBH policies and American Psychological Association guidelines
- Manage the civil commitment process for patients detained under RCW
- Oversee the work of all psychology staff and manage billing practices for licensed psychologists
- Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an APA, CPA, or regionally accredited college or university
- Licensure to practice in Washington as an independent Psychologist or licensed to practice in another state with the ability to obtain Washington licensure within six months from date of hire
- Minimum three years of experience providing evidence-based treatment to psychiatric residents within a residential or psychiatric hospital setting
- Minimum two years of managerial experience providing clinical supervision to professional staff
- Management experience – intermediate level or higher
- Five years of experience providing evidence-based treatment to psychiatric residents within a residential or psychiatric hospital setting
- Experience with negotiating/managing performance-based contracts with other agencies and professionals
- Working knowledge of budgeting and contract management principles and practices
King County employees receive 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary and are eligible to receive a free ORCA card for transportation use. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary.
