Position Summary: The Electrical Construction Supervisor will be instrumental in the successful completion of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This role involves leading the team through the planning, layout, and execution phases of the project. Reporting directly to the Project Superintendent, the Electrical Supervisor will work closely with other team members and subcontractors to ensure project goals are achieved while upholding the highest safety standards and integrity. As a leader committed to excellence, the Electrical Supervisor will collaborate with various stakeholders to bring Hoffman Construction's vision to life.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $150,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations alongside other superintendents and subcontractors.
  • Manage multiple electrical subcontractors and craft personnel.
  • Adjust and maintain project schedules as required.
  • Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage submittals for client review.
  • Support cost control and quality assurance programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Resolve design and constructability challenges.
  • Address client inquiries and develop solutions utilizing technical expertise.
  • Interpret and implement project specifications in accordance with local codes.
  • Provide insights on field conditions for accurate cost estimates.
  • Facilitate contractor performance in line with contractual obligations.
  • Assist in project staffing management.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Qualifications:

Experience and Education:
  • Minimum of five (5) years in medium and high voltage electrical construction.
  • Familiarity with medium and high voltage distribution systems and electrical installations for large mechanical equipment.
  • Extensive experience in large industrial and high-tech fabrication projects is preferred.
  • OSHA 30 Certification is required.
  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and project management software.
  • Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to navigate a combination of stationary and active work environments.
  • Capability to ascend and descend ladders and scaffolding.
  • Frequent use of hands for operating machinery and tools.
  • Strong visual acuity for detailed tasks.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Independent judgment and decision-making skills are essential.
