Sales Specialist

At SigSauer, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Specialist to join our Commercial Sales Department. As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will play a critical role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth goals.
Job Summary:The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for making outbound calls and emails to current and prospective dealers, generating interest, qualifying opportunities, and closing sales. This role requires strong collaboration with the outside sales team and a proactive approach to understanding customer needs and generating leads.
Key Responsibilities:- Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads and follow-up utilizing inbound/outbound cold calls and emails.
- Maintain and expand a robust database of prospects within the assigned territory.
- Conduct thorough research on accounts, identify key players, and generate interest in our products and services.
- Understand and analyze customer needs and requirements to provide tailored solutions.
- Respond promptly to dealer calls, emails, and faxes to resolve warranty claims, pricing issues, general inquiries, and order entry.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
- Close sales and achieve monthly targets.
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience with sales, order entry, or customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn new products and quickly adapt to a changing environment.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Prior experience working with CRM systems.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
Primarily making outbound calls (remainder of time: accepting inbound calls, sending emails, and completing administrative responsibilities using a variety of software tools.)
