We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Oversee the processing of prescriptions, including patient registration, data entry, and medication preparation.
- Assist pharmacists in delivering patient care, including patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications for patients.
- Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy operations, including workflow optimization and inventory management.
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal laws, and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Lead performance management of technicians, including making decisions and recommendations regarding discipline and termination.
- Assist with training and development of pharmacy technicians, including hands-on training and assignment of learning modules.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
- One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting required.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Previous people management/leadership experience.
- Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $22.50 per hour - $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
