About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Admissions Navigator to join our team at American Addiction Centers. As a key member of our admissions team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to potential clients and their families, guiding them through the admissions process, and ensuring a seamless transition into our treatment programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently answer and handle inquiries from clients and support group members via phone, email, and online chat
  • Complete the admissions process, including explaining services and related costs, conducting telephonic intake screenings, and processing payment
  • Deliver high-quality customer service standards of care for internal and external clients
  • Effectively follow up with pending leads and referrals
  • Exercise effective use of soft skills, including active listening, building rapport, and empathy
  • Gather insurance benefits from clients and accurately record the information into our CRM system
  • Conduct over-the-phone intake screenings to determine clinical appropriateness and correct placement for levels of care
  • Achieve minimum admission targets and meet monthly performance metrics
  • Partner with multiple departments to ensure overall achievement in our mission
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, or counseling)
  • Four years of experience working in a call center environment, with a focus on inbound and outbound calls
  • Two or more years of proven experience in an operations management role
  • Strong product knowledge and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace: Sheets, Docs, Slides, & Forms
