Job Overview

Position Summary:

Lima One Capital is seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to enhance our IT Operations team. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional technical support through effective troubleshooting of applications, systems access, and resolution of hardware, software, and network challenges. Candidates should possess strong communication skills to assist individuals and staff across various levels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid grasp of IT methodologies and solutions, exhibit forward-thinking capabilities, and collaborate effectively with both local and remote IT team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and sustain the Azure infrastructure, which includes virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and security elements.
  • Facilitate the installation, optimization, integration, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, modifications, security, and upgrades of IT systems and components, both on-premises and cloud-based.
  • Proficiently troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex technical issues, whether onsite or remotely.
  • Develop, update, and implement maintenance schedules for IT systems while managing local and remote inventories.
  • Support and manage in-house developed software, as well as on-premises and cloud/SaaS solutions.
  • Continuously monitor IT systems and performance; identify issues; recommend beneficial adjustments; and ensure compliance with configuration change policies and processes.
  • Formulate and propose ITIL best practice policies and procedures, along with Knowledge Base documentation and templates. Document troubleshooting and resolution processes within the ITSM software.
  • Engage in ongoing research to resolve issues and enhance personal skills and knowledge.
  • Provide after-hours support as necessary, typically for system updates and scheduled events.
  • Adhere to and implement Cyber Security policies while maintaining SOX compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field with a minimum of 5 years of Systems Administration experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in architecting or administering IT systems in a traditional on-premise infrastructure.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in architecting or administering IT systems in an Azure environment.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Security, Azure Active Directory, and Local AD.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in scripting and deploying automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Power Automate, or similar tools.
  • Experience in implementing cloud security and compliance best practices.
  • Experience in monitoring and optimizing performance of Azure-based systems.
  • Prior experience in Database administration.
  • Experience administering Microsoft products such as Endpoint Manager (Intune), MS Defender, and O365.

Preferred Skills:

  • Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer) are advantageous.
  • Experience with Azure HCI.
  • Proficiency in scripting, Power Automate, and other automation tools.
  • Ability to diagnose, resolve, and escalate problems effectively.
  • Collaboration with other teams to resolve issues and close tickets.
  • Assistance in data gathering and problem analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to monitor workload and prioritize support tickets.
  • Hands-on familiarity with both cloud and on-premises applications.
  • Understanding of Cisco networks and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting/administering applications within the Microsoft 365 cloud ecosystem, including Office, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Experience with OKTA or other Identity Providers.
  • Familiarity with Box or other cloud content management systems.
