Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

This position offers a significant opportunity to influence various sectors within the company. Responsibilities include providing manufacturing engineering support for cameras, image CCD/CMOS sensors, and printed circuit assemblies in the assembly and testing production area.

As the technical owner, you will address issues related to the cameras on our tool builds. Lead the quality system by conducting failure analysis of all internal and field issues, EOL concerns from suppliers, and reliability improvement projects. Manage engineering change orders and oversee test data entry and specifications within our quality database platform.

Work closely with design teams, serving as the manufacturing representative in key design review meetings and as part of New Product Development teams. Assist in establishing new testing strategies and support design engineering with tooling for new cameras entering production.

Lead a multi-functional team supporting a camera subsystem in production within a collaborative environment. Present technical updates and project status to upper management in weekly reports and during project review meetings. Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects while effectively communicating progress to executive managers, being self-reliant and dedicated.

Conduct statistical analysis of data-driven programs and test results (JMP preferred).


Qualifications, but not limited to:

Strong problem-solving skills and methodical root cause analysis experience. Familiarity with printed circuit boards (PCB) and knowledge of schematic capture, ORCAD. Proficiency in using an oscilloscope.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Haves:

Knowledge of cameras and/or sensors. Experience in testing electrical subsystems and modifying Python scripts. Familiarity with LabVIEW testing software.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Level Degree with 3 years of related work experience; Bachelor’s Level Degree with 5 years of related work experience.
