Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Electrical Engineers are integral to KLA's technology.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will join a distinguished engineering team and contribute to the development of our next-generation reticle inspection tool.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with a team of highly skilled electrical engineers specializing in analog electronics design, sensors, image acquisition, and signal integrity for PCBs and cables.
  • Partner with system engineers and other functional/subsystem engineers to define electrical system/subsystem design specifications.
  • Work with external vendors and contractors to deliver subsystems that meet design specifications and reliability targets.
  • Integrate and test subsystems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with OrCAD/CAD tools and electronic simulation tools.
  • Experience in Analog, Mixed Signal, and Digital design, including ADCs, DACs, DC/DC converters, operational amplifiers, and sensors.
  • Familiarity with low noise analog and instrumentation high voltage design is a plus.
  • Experience with EE lab tools, including bring-up, characterization, design validation, and PCBA troubleshooting.
  • Full cycle of PCB design from schematics through layout to manufacturing.
  • Understanding of electronic fundamentals (signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, etc.).
  • Eagerness to learn from our outstanding engineers' expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.
  • Skills in noise analysis.
  • Experience with high voltage design.
  • Familiarity with advanced FPGA design.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience;
Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years;
Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years.
