Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at KLA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing concepts and designs for the next generation system, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure detailed integration and test at the subsystem and system level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and design next-generation system architecture, including datapath requirements analysis and architecture design
  • Represent Electrical Engineering in sub-system architecture and design reviews
  • Define interfaces with other critical sub-systems
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, Optical Engineer, Software, Systems, and Manufacturing engineers to ensure detailed integration and test
  • Conduct various analysis, including circuit, timing, thermal/cooling, electrical loads, and FPGA modeling
  • Design and develop detailed drawings, design review presentations, and procure prototype parts
  • Lead system integration, prototype testing, and handoff to manufacturing
Requirements:
  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 5 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 12 years
  • Strong knowledge of low noise linear analog circuitry, characteristics of analog components, CCD sensors, and image acquisition
  • Understanding of capabilities and coding techniques of advanced FPGA devices
  • Proficient with the use of electronics laboratory equipment
