Job Overview
The Retail Sales Associate serves as a representative of the Cox brand, acting as the primary liaison for both prospective and current customers. This role, situated within a Third-Party Retailer, involves guiding customers through their purchasing decisions, installation processes, and educating them about Cox's product and accessory offerings while ensuring a superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve individual sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction targets.
- Demonstrate and explain product features and benefits, tailoring suggestions to meet customer needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers in completing transactions and resolving any issues.
- Implement promotional campaigns aimed at enhancing brand recognition and achieving sales goals.
- Maintain a well-organized, clean, and visually appealing sales area.
- Engage in workshops, special events, and product demonstrations to foster customer loyalty.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training.
- Support fellow sales agents as necessary to ensure optimal customer service.
Work Schedule
Shifts may vary from Monday through Sunday, typically from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Compensation includes a base pay rate of $15.00 per hour, plus commission, along with potential bonuses based on tenure.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Preferred experience of at least one year in a related field such as Sales or Retail Sales.
- Ability to meet established sales and customer experience targets.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficient in computer skills with a readiness to learn about communication products and services.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to work at various retail locations.
- Proven track record of high performance in sales and customer retention.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively promote products using a solutions-oriented approach.
Note: Contractors are engaged to provide services to Cox on a temporary basis in connection with a specific assignment.
