Customer Experience Specialist

Cox Communications is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences and driving sales in our retail locations.
Key Responsibilities- Explain and demonstrate product capabilities to customers, offering personalized solutions to meet their needs.
- Meet or exceed targets for customer experience, sales, and retention, working closely with the sales team to achieve shared goals.
- Assist with the opening and closing of retail environments, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Properly handle cash and credit transactions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Engage in workshops, special events, and product demos to stay up-to-date on the latest products and services.
- Support fellow sales agents, providing guidance and assistance as needed to ensure the success of the team.
- Continuously expand knowledge of current Cox products and competitor offerings through regular training classes.
Cox Communications is committed to providing a competitive compensation package, including a variable targeted total compensation of $33,304 ($22.08/hr). This reflects a part-time (29 hours/week) hourly base rate of at least $17.00 and a targeted commission of $639 a month. Employees also receive a ramp period of up to 2 months to adjust to commission earnings.

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college experience preferred.
- Ability to meet established sales, retention, and customer experience targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively sell products using a consultative, solutions-based approach.
- Ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a service-oriented, fast-paced team environment.
- Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning communication products, services, and accessories.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds to help manage stock room inventory.
