About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant to join our team at Datamaran. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for understanding client needs and presenting tailored solutions that align with their business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Discovery: Engage with prospective clients to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and goals. Conduct needs assessments to identify how our Datamaran solutions can address their specific business ESG needs.
  • Solution Development: Design and propose solutions that meet client requirements, leveraging your deep understanding of the Datamaran Platform and the client's business environment.
  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver compelling, tailored demonstrations of the Datamaran Platform to prospective clients, highlighting key features, benefits, and how they solve the client's pain points.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle, addressing any technical questions or concerns that arise. Assist in overcoming any technical barriers that may impede the sales process.
  • Proposal Creation: Collaborate with the sales team to create detailed proposals, RFP responses, and presentations that effectively communicate the value of our ESG solutions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with product management and engineering teams to provide feedback from clients and prospects, influencing product development and enhancements based on market demands.
  • Market and Product Knowledge: Stay current with ESG industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies to better position our solutions in the market and address client needs effectively.
  • Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key C-Suite stakeholders at prospective client organizations, becoming a trusted technical advisor.
  • Sales Enablement: Assist in training and educating the sales team on technical aspects of our products, ensuring they are equipped to effectively communicate our Platform's value proposition.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of ESG experience in SaaS, consultancy, or advisory.
    • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, or technical sales engineering role, preferably within a software company.
    • Proven ability to design and present software solutions that meet client needs and drive sales success.
    • Experience with enterprise software, SaaS platforms, and cloud technologies is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of ESG landscape, ESG competitors, consultancies.
    • Proficiency in conducting platform demonstrations and configuring product features to meet client requirements.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand client challenges and design appropriate solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, demonstrating empathy and a client-first approach.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple opportunities and tasks simultaneously.
