Overview

AvalonBay is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Community Concierge. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents, prospects, and vendors. Your primary goal will be to create a welcoming and memorable experience for everyone who interacts with our community.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. As a Community Concierge, you will be the face of AvalonBay, and your interactions will set the tone for our community's reputation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing top-notch customer service to residents, prospects, and vendors
  • Managing front desk operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and handling resident requests
  • Coordinating resident move-ins and move-outs, including scheduling and communicating with residents and vendors
  • Assisting with resident services, such as package delivery and maintenance requests
  • Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area, including restocking supplies and managing paperwork

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of customer service experience preferred
