Overview

AvalonBay Communities is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Community Concierge. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents, prospects, and vendors. Your primary goal will be to create a welcoming and luxurious living experience that exceeds our residents' expectations.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who can multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple requests simultaneously. As a Community Concierge, you will be the face of AvalonBay, and your interactions with residents, prospects, and vendors will set the tone for their experience with our community. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing top-notch customer service and resolving resident concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitoring foot traffic and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area
  • Implementing programs to address resident satisfaction and improve the overall living experience
  • Partnering with the leasing office and maintenance team to ensure seamless communication and service delivery
  • Assisting with move-in and move-out processes, including coordinating logistics and ensuring a smooth transition for residents

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; 1+ year of related experience in a hotel, retail, or restaurant preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests
  • Proficiency in using administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional flexibility to accommodate resident needs
