Job Description

**Allocator Role at Solomon Page**

We are seeking a highly skilled Allocator to join our team at Solomon Page. As an Allocator, you will play a critical role in executing product allocations to the store level, working closely with Planners and Merchants to optimize inventory deployment and capitalize on opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Partner with Cross-Functional Teams**: Collaborate with Planners and Merchants to develop and execute allocation strategies that support business objectives.
  • **Analyze Data and Provide Insights**: Review data from sizing teams and historical performance to update allocation parameters and optimize store sell-through.
  • **Develop Inventory Flow Forecasts**: Create accurate forecasts that support business strategies and drive key outlet initiatives.
  • **Execute Allocation Strategies**: Execute allocation strategies to optimize inventory and capitalize on opportunities, working closely with cross-functional teams to create sustainable processes.
  • **Communicate with Retail Field Partners**: Communicate with retail field partners on product in-stock status, floor set on time rates, inventory challenges, and store-related concerns.
Required Qualifications:
  • **Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field**: A degree in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • **3+ Years of Experience in Allocation**: A minimum of 3 years of experience in allocation, with a strong understanding of inventory management and optimization.
  • **Technical Proficiency**: Technical proficiency with computer software tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SAS.
  • **Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Capabilities**: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to quickly identify and communicate implications from consumer, internal, and marketplace information.
  • **Ability to Handle Multiple Tasks and Projects**: Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • **Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and retail field partners.
