RER Solutions, Inc. is currently looking for a Business Analyst to enhance our talented team. This role will involve collaborating with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and OTIM personnel to optimize IT operations, ensuring they are effective, efficient, and compliant with both internal and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, prioritize, and address complex issues affecting the planning, execution, and assessment of OTIM programs and services.
- Support the implementation of policies and procedures aligned with the Strategic Plan objectives.
- Act as a liaison to guarantee that all IT policies, processes, and initiatives are executed accurately and timely.
- Assist in developing and sustaining effective organizational structures, enhancing management practices, and ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Design, strategize, and investigate administrative matters of significant complexity and consequence.
- Manage inquiries, set deadlines, and direct them to the appropriate departments for resolution.
- Prepare detailed technical reports on program activities and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency and clarity.
- Perform various technical, planning, and administrative tasks to support the office, including providing customer service, drafting policy memoranda, and preparing correspondence.
- Develop communication strategies that enhance understanding of programs and procedures for diverse audiences, in line with the overarching strategic plan.
- Analyze CIO program outcomes, effectiveness, and compliance with agency regulations for major reporting and oversight.
- Provide objective information to inform decisions regarding security operations and their administrative and programmatic aspects.
- Formulate and communicate a vision and business plan for information dissemination.
- Enhance communication strategies for each programmatic issue relevant to targeted audiences.
- Ensure that events and informational campaigns are well-coordinated and executed with high quality.
- Create program information and communications tailored for staff with varying levels of understanding of agency programs and policies.
- Research, compile, and analyze data to produce technical and management guidance on various topics, including program plans and action reports.
- Develop and write communication materials such as talking points, bulletins, brochures, blog posts, and presentations to inform OTIM staff about relevant programs and initiatives.
- Advise on the development and presentation of information, provide communication training to staff, and review written work for content and presentation.
- Must be a US Citizen to obtain client-issued Public Trust.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related field.
- Experience in federal IT operations is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a solid understanding of business writing fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
