We are looking for a dedicated Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler to become a vital part of our team at University Orthopedics East Bay Surgery Center. The successful candidate will deliver outstanding service to our patients while ensuring the efficient functioning of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of patient information
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team
  • Manage telephone communications and provide administrative support
  • Oversee inventory of supplies and maintain orderly documentation
  • Engage professionally with physicians and patients alike
  • Welcome and assist patients, coordinate surgical appointments, and prepare surgical documentation
  • Support the development of Operating Room schedules and assist with data entry for reporting purposes

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in medical reception or administrative roles
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Familiarity with MS Office and EMR systems
  • Understanding of insurance eligibility and verification processes
  • Team-oriented with a proactive approach
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as required
