Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Staff Scheduler to join our team at HopeHealth. As a Medical Staff Scheduler, you will play a critical role in supporting the scheduling needs of our medical staff across various sites of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and manage ETO blocks and timelines to ensure adequate coverage at all sites
  • Pull ETO reports from ADP and reconcile with medical staff leaders on a monthly basis
  • Work closely with palliative site leads to prepare weekly schedules
  • Collaborate with Lead HMD to prepare the weekly hospice calendar, staying one month out
  • Assist with the preparation of the on-call calendar, listing physician responsibilities for weeknights, weekends, and holidays
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff, leaders, and other customers in a timely manner
  • Identify and participate in quality improvement projects as directed
Requirements
  • A minimum of a high school diploma plus additional specialized training
  • Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in an administrative assistant position, utilizing high-level verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to proficiently use the computer, knowledge of Windows and Excel, and internet and scheduling software
