Job Overview

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is in search of an RF Test Technician whose main responsibilities will involve quality assurance and calibration/testing of RF telecommunication devices utilizing various testing tools and resources.

Position Details:

Full-Time Schedule - 3-Day Weekend - Overtime Opportunities - On-Site Work Only

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing, inspection, calibration, and troubleshooting of RF, analog, and digital circuit boards and products efficiently to meet customer specifications.
  • Set up and operate electrical, electronic, and RF testing equipment, including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, hi-pot and ground bond testers, oscilloscopes, and digital probes effectively.
  • Perform visual and mechanical testing, along with inspections to ensure compliance with approved company, industry, and quality standards, making adjustments and repairs as necessary.
  • Report any defective materials, questionable conditions, product discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions to the lead test technician.
  • Accurately document information such as labor hours and other statistics in the computer database.
  • Follow established company policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations; utilize personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
  • Execute other related tasks as assigned or directed, and may assist in other manufacturing departments as required.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Must hold an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution.
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
  • Manual dexterity to handle and solder small components using a magnifying glass or microscope.
  • Experience in RF is highly preferred.
  • Soldering experience is strongly preferred.
