This role requires timely follow up with insurance companies on payments, denials, and appeals for patient accounts. Responsibilities include reviewing work queues, prioritizing account activities, verifying and updating patient information, identifying claim denials, handling appeals, reviewing insurance payments, and resolving patient inquiries forwarded from Customer Service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent required
A minimum of one year experience in a business setting
Ability to use a computer keyboard and mouse, navigate computer programs, and use email in a business setting
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience in healthcare billing preferred

The estimated salary range for this position is $25.22 - $35.90 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
