Customer Service Representative

About the Role:
The Customer Solutions Representative I is a key member of our sales and operations team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchase orders and provide timely and accurate information on product availability, pricing, and expected ship dates.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers, sales team, brokers, and internal departments.
- Coordinate consumer and customer complaint activities, recognizing and escalating high-priority issues while maintaining confidentiality.
- Provide timely and effective responses and resolutions to customer issues and needs.
- Work with logistics and warehousing to proactively address customer and delivery issues.
- Collaborate with production planning to address inventory and product availability issues.
- Assist with ecommerce order processing and inventory management.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of customer service and/or consumer affairs experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food processing industry.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Associate degree from a two-year college or university preferred.
