Donation Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill Industries International Inc. As a key member of our donation center team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, receiving donations, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Provide outstanding customer service to donors, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Receive and process donations, ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored in a safe and accessible manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to Goodwill's standards for appearance and safety.
• Assist with loading and unloading donations from vehicles, using equipment such as pallet jacks and walkie stackers as needed.
• Perform daily safety inspections on company-owned equipment and report any issues or concerns to management.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge in customer service, donation processing, and store operations.

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and process donations.
